About the game

Defender of the Crown was Cinemaware's first game, and one of the games that showed what the Amiga could do. Set in Saxon England after the death of King Richard, it has you battle the Normans and rival lords for the throne. You manage your armies on a map of England, and take part in jousting tournaments, sword fights and castle sieges. It's famous for the beautiful artwork by Jim Sachs.
