About the game
Alien Highway is Vortex's sequel to Highway Encounter, sometimes billed as Encounter 2. The alien invasion of Earth has been beaten back, and now the Vorton robot strikes deep into the aliens' own empire to destroy their Industrial Complex. You steer the Dalek-like Vorton along an isometric highway, pushing the pyramid-shaped Terratron weapon ahead of you while blasting aliens and dodging obstacles. Swerve too far to avoid trouble and you lose contact with the Terratron, which means going back for it, often across the stretch you've just cleared.
