About the game
Last Mission is Data East's arcade shooter. Driven from your home planet, you return to defeat the invaders swarming over its surface. Your ship flies forwards at a steady speed and you rotate it like the ship in Asteroids, so dodging takes skill. Shooting the flower-shaped pods on the ground releases lettered squares that give you new weapons and defences. Destroyed enemies leave dangerous debris behind.
